Backup Services

BCDR stands for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. It is a set of processes and procedures that business put in place to ensure that they can continue to operate in the event of a disaster, such as fire, hardware failer, cyber attack, ransomware, or other significant disruption. The goal of BCDR is to minimize the impact of a disruption on the business, and to quickly restore normal operations. This may include things like data backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and incident response planning.

Small But Mighty All-In-One BCDR Solution

Businesses rely on data more than ever before, and business must safeguard their data. Ascot can ensure that your company is always protected and resilient in the face of disasters. Ascot provides daily verified backups, restore options for any scenario, instant virtualization (spinn virtual machine in the cloud or on-prem; so you can keep working), and ransomware protection are all included with Ascot services.

Reliable Data Protection

Ascot creates better backups that do not rely on incremental Backups. Ascot backs up your data using Inverse Chain Techlology. In a nutshell Inverse chain backups refer to a method of backing up data where the most recent backup is stored first and each subsequent backup is stored in reverse chronological order. This allows for faster restoration of the most recent data, as it is stored first in the chain, and also allows for more efficient storage of older backups, as they are stored in reverse order.
Your data is backed up in three different locations:

  • Your local office

  • Calgary datacentre

  • Toronto datacentre.

Your information is never sent outside of Canada.
